I think they figured since I was talking fine (and I really do have no problems talking!) it wasn't worth the risk that clipping it could ruin that.

I CAN touch the roof of my mouth though. I just can't stick it out at all. Everytime a new doctor wants me to stick my tongue out it's a little embarrassing. They always say "further" and I mumble "can't".

It's never caused me any other problems though!

Glad all went well with his surgery! :)S.I.F.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15037271343194689612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614023604859707054.post-38316773704827685792010-05-04T12:53:08.127-04:002010-05-04T12:53:08.127-04:00Hey SIF,

There are different degrees of tongue-tied though. Jacob is pretty bad- he can't touch the tongue to the roof of his mouth!Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15558857438868245981noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614023604859707054.post-74772943594992667402010-05-04T02:21:49.230-04:002010-05-04T02:21:49.230-04:00Saying prayers for your little one! I'm tongue tied, and the doctors told my parents they shouldn't opt for surgery on me because it could cause speech problems. Of course, that was 27 years ago, so... there is that!

For the record, I still get made fun of to this day when people see me stick out my barely there tongue, so it's probably for the best. Good luck lady!S.I.F.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15037271343194689612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5614023604859707054.post-10367059642523671822010-05-03T23:27:10.598-04:002010-05-03T23:27:10.598-04:00He will definitely be in my prayers tonight!
